“Sikupenda”: Alikiba Speaks after Shenseea Failure to Perform at Raha Fest

Alikiba, Tanzania’s legendary singer has reacted to Shenseea, a Jamaican singer’s failure to perform at Raha Fest during the cross-over eve at Uhuru Gardens.

In an exclusive interview with Rick Media, the Bongo Flava artiste said he felt bad when the Jamaican artiste left the stage without performing.

Alikiba explained that the chaos that erupted at Raha Fest happened outside the venue, and the police lobbed teargas to disperse rowdy fans.

In his statement, he argued that if he were Shenseea, he couldn’t have left the venue because the security was tight.

However, Alikiba said Shenseea acted out of emotions to draw shade at her fans and lay blame on them for disrupting her highly anticipated cross-over concert in Kenya.

“Kwa kweli sikupenda uamzi wake au mazungumzo yake lakini kila binadamu huongea kile anachohisi moyoni mwake hasa wanawake,” Alikiba stated.

He added that her comments on social media after a failed performance were out of emotions since she’s a female. He claimed if she were a man, she couldn’t have acted out of emotions to clap at Kenyans for causing chaos at Raha Fest.

“Wanawake hufanya maamuzi kwa emotions ndiyo maana ilikuwa rahisi kwake kusema hivyo. Yote tisa, siwezi nikamhukumu.” He added.

At the Raha Fest concert, Shenseea claimed that the reason she left the event without performing was insecurity. She stated that Kenyans caused chaos by attempting to invade the concert without adhering to guidelines.

“Now, KENYA 😑😑😑😑😑 I’m a little mad at y’all negligence!” Angry Shenseea slammed.
