Cape Media has awarded Dr Ofweneke, Linda Alela, Andrine Kilemi and Diana Tarik lucrative managerial roles. In a statement seen by Mideyah Digital Media, the talented journalists were given the roles as the company cemented its long and short-term goals.

Diana Tarik, the programming manager, was added more responsibilities and would take the implementation lead for Special Projects at the fast-rising and highly listened media firm.

“Diana’s extensive experience will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our partnerships and enhance the effectiveness of our special initiatives,” the statement reads in part.

Intelligentsia Linda Alela will head the Gender-Based Violence docket as the Lead Gender Desk. Historically, her vast experience in fighting against GBV will see her exploring her most loved docket as she horns her career.

However, Andrine Kilemi, a news command damsel assumed the Education Desk. The experienced and talented Radio/TV queen would lead the docket as she continues with her roles as an anchor and reporter

In a move to bring new ideas and changes, the company said the changes aimed at enhancing news adaptations to dynamic media changes in commercial and client servicing.

“Editorial output, corporate standing, and commercial strength to achieve our short-term and long-term goals,” the statement reads in part.

“It’s with great honour that I accept the role. I will serve to my best and as we adapt our slogan at the events, ‘CELEBRATING LIFE, ONE EVENT AT A TIME,'” Dr Ofweneke said.
