Renowned radio and TV host, Dr. Ofweneke, is joyfully marking his first month of sobriety and reflecting on his journey to overcome addiction.
Previously consuming two bottles of whiskey daily, he now finds solace and fulfillment by dedicating his time to prayer and worship, deepening his connection with God.Taking to Instagram, Dr. Ofweneke has shared a heartfelt account of his transformation, revealing that his cravings for alcohol have been replaced by a thirst for spiritual nourishment.

“From consuming an average of 2 whiskey bottles a day to celebrating my first month of being sober today. My thirst has turned into spending time with God in prayer and worship,” he wrote.
He has expressed gratitude for the positive changes he has experienced, emphasizing that he no longer feels the full of addiction. Instead, he immerses himself in a spiritual state, spending hours in prayer and worship, appreciating the presence of God, and eagerly seeking His guidance.
“I no longer feel physical, being in the spirit 24hrs and enjoying the presence of God and hearing from him is too sweet. My addiction to spending time with God is growing crazy everyday.
