President Wiliam Ruto has gifted himself a brand-new Toyota SUV car at the launch of a Japanese Jumbo Auction Center in Naivasha, Nakuru County.

The launch carried out on Wednesday 24th April 2024 in Naivasha, President Ruto attended the launch of the motor industrial firm alongside Nakuru County Governor Susan Kihiga.

During the launch, President Ruto was filmed snubbing several Porche machines including Lexus and Mercedes Benz G Wagon and settled at a yellow Toyota SUV car.

In the recorded film that surfaced online, President Ruto was heard requesting that the car’s owner help him with the keys as other requirements to buy it followed.

“This is a Toyota eeeh…I want to buy this car. Where is the owner and the plate? ” He posed before giving the ignition keys for a test drive.

“Send me the invoice with all the taxes.” President Ruto added after the test drive of the brand-new car.

Jumbo Auction Center was launched in Kenya in Naivasha to develop motor industrial business in the Rift Valley Region of the country of the country.

After he acquired the car, President Ruto said he bought the car to create a business debut for a Japanese-owned motor vehicle auctioneering company.

“This is more than an auction; it is a revolution of the car purchasing experience in Kenya and the auction will not only ensure competitive pricing but also foster greater savings for buyers through an enhanced and transparent bidding process, he declared.
