Marya Okoth’s Mum Classifies TikTokers Nyako,Trisha as ‘Kienyejis’

Kenyan content creator Marya okoth’s mum has amused netizens as she classified Tiktokers Nyako and Trisha as Kienyeji’s.
Marya shared the video on her Instagram page as she conversed with her mother who grouped the popular Tiktokers into two distinct groups, the vienyejis and the cool kids.Nyako, Trisha and Prince Mwiti who have a great influence on the app, fell on her vienyejis group. While TikTokers such as Azziad, Ajib and Hannah Benta were placed as the cool kids.

“TikTokers wamegawa, kuna vienyeji na cool kids. Vienyeji wanaongozwa na Nyako. Nyako ako kwa hiyo team, Trisha ako kwa hiyo team…Prince Mwiti. Hiyo team ingine ikona Azziad, Ajib, Hannah Benta na Baba T,” she said.
One of the categorization that stood out was that of Tik Tok hailed president, Pilot Nyako and Trisha who doubles up as an actress. The duo have a massive following on their accounts and this labelling amused netizens.
Marya’s bold mother surprised Kenyans with her great familiarity of the Gen-Z TikTokers who have overtaken the app with a lot of energy. She clearly mentioned their usernames on the account without any help from her daughter.

Her daughter listened in amusement as she added some of the TikTokers while her mum was responsible for the classification. She captioned the video stating that TikTok has influenced even parents who are quite advanced in age.
“TikTok itatumalizia wazazi. Serikali saidia and funny thing, sikuangi na yeye so I am not the one who shows her these things.”
