Bruno Fernandes Snubs Erik ten Hag As He Names World’s Best Manager

Manchester United captain and Portugal international Bruno Fernandes has revealed the best manager in the world while snubbing his current Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag as the best manager. The Portuguese midfielder is on international duty where during the press conference, he was asked to name the best manager in the world and his respond has sparked controversy.

Bruno Fernandes joined Manchester in 2020 January transfer window from Portuguese side Sporting CP for a staggering fee of €65.00m. Since then, Bruno Fernandes has been a key player at Old Trafford where he has made 223 appearances for the club and scoring 72 goals as well as providing 63 assists.

The Portuguese magnifico was named the club’s captain by the Dutch manager Erik ten Hag after Harry Maguire was stripped off the captaincy for his poor performances on the pitch while spending a lot of time on the bench leading Ten Hag to make the decision.

Fernandes has played under four different managers since he joined the club which includes, Manchester United legends Ole Gunnar Solskjaer & Michael Carrick, the Austrian coach Ralf Rangnick who took over as interim manager after Ole Gunnar was fired and the current Dutch manager Erik ten Hag. However, while he was speaking in an interview with A Bola, Bruno was asked to name the best manager in the world, and he didn’t mention any of the four.

Instead, Bruno settled on Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola as the best manager coach in the world, where he said, “We are talking about the best coach in the world, without a shadow of a doubt. In recent years, he has been the best coach in the world,”

“He is probably the coach who most changed the game of football. Nowadays, everyone wants to be Guardiola; there is no need to hide that”
