“Naomba Mchango”: Yesu Ninyandue Singer Appeals To Raise Ksh 243K Court Fee After Release On Bail
Yesu Ninyandue singer has appealed to the public to help him raise the Ksh 243K required by the court after he was released on cash bail from Kapsoya Police Station.
Wiliam Getumbe was arrested on Monday evening at his home in Eldoret following an order from the Kenya Film Classification Board(KFCB).
The Ninyandue hitmaker who was released on a cash bail of Ksh 10,000; said his arrest was because of breaching the KFCB’s video license and content ethics.

“I was arrested for failure to make haste in paying Ksh 243, ooo but after my release on cash bail, I’ll appear before the court on 15th March 2024”.
In a candid exclusive interview with Mideyah Digital Media, the Ninyandue crooner said the hefty amount of money required to be paid to KFCB is a hurdle for him.
Following the huge charges, he appealed to the public to help him raise the money which he wasn’t in a position to raise.

“Hizo pesa hata sina. Naomba mchango nisaidiwe nilipe though I was released on Ksh 10,000 cash bail.” The controversial gospel artiste appealed.
Further, the Ninyandue crooner told Mideyah Digital Media that his move to release the hit song couldn’t warrant his arrest and that the arrest was against his freedom of expression and worship.
“Mimi sina makosa kwa kuimba ‘Yesu Ninyandue’ na siwezi kataa kupata mimba ya Mungu.” Ninyandue hitmaker added.
