Zuhura Othman popularly Zuchu has fired at her critics who thought she had broken up with WCB-Wasafi CEO Diamond Platnumz.

Zuchu is also required  required to pay a fine of Tsh.1 million to the Arts Council.

The Council of Art, Census, Film and Culture of Zanzibar has banned bubbly Tanzanian artist Zuhura Othman Masoud alias Zuchu from conducting all art activities in Zanzibar.

Additionally, Zanzibar Radio and Television stations have been banned from playing all her songs for a period of six months. The action has come after the incident of February 24 this year when Zuchu while performing on the night of Fullmoon Kendwa, North Unguja Region in Zanzibar allegedly sang an indecent lyric in a creative hit rebuking Diamond admirers.

She claimed that despite their temporary breakup, Diamond Platnumz would not leave her for any other lady even those who would go an extra mile to offer him their SIM 2.

“Huyu kwangu hatoki hata mmpe mku…” she sang.
