Zari Hassan has defended her relationship with Diamond Platnumz by alleging the two are just normal friends and also parents to their two children.
Speaking to Ayo TV, Zari distanced herself from Platnumz and Zuchu’s unstable relationship by saying the duo is confused and doesn’t have a firm stand in a relationship.
The South Africa-based Ugandan socialite disclosed that Zuchu is always in an on-and-off relationship with Platnumz. According to her, she ain’t the cause of their recent breakup that went viral on the weekend.

Zari added that the moment Platnumz is asked about his relationship with Zuchu, he always distances himself from it by alleging Zuchu is his signee and not a lover as many allege.
“Zuchu kila wiki anaenda akirudi tena mara moja anaenda. Wenyewe ooh hatuko pamoja yule ni msanii wangu but the two are dating.” Zari said.
Further, Zari said the weekend alleged breakup was not the first one the two had come to the public to speak over it but Zuchu always causes a buzz in her relationship with Platnumz by threatening to leave the relationship.

“Wenyewe wako kama wenye wako confused. Zuchu leaves every week and the following week she comes back. Zuchu is confused.” She added.
She alleged the video Platnumz shared on Instagram walking alongside her neither was the one that made Zuchu opt to break with Platnumz nor the one that made her(Zari) break with Shakib as social media users allege.
According to Zari, her issues with Shakib started in November 2023 when she started deleting Shakib’s photos from her Instagram stories. She alleged her relationship issues with Shakib were many and serious far from what social media users know.
“Mimi na Shakib tumekuwa na matatizo yetu ndo maana hapo Novemba nilianza kuzuifuta picha za Shakib. Tulikuwa na mambo mengi. Big issues. Haiwezi kutoka eti Baba T and Zari ndo anajiweka kwa hiyo situation anaenda” She clarified on why she deleted Shakibs photos.
Over the weekend after Zuchu disclosed her breakup with Platnumz, the WCB-Wasafi followed her to Zanzibar and apologised on stage but it has not been revealed if the two cleared their differences to continue dating.
