Eric Omondi Vows To Help Director Trevor Love Eve Mungai Again, Says Problem Has Been Nosy Friends
Following his huge impact on the growth of the Eve Mungai brand channels at its early stages, comedian Eric Omondi doesn’t want to see Eve Mungai and Director Trevor parting ways.
Omondi has pledged to facilitate a reconciliation between former YouTube sensation couple Director Trevor and Eve Mungai. In an interview with Trudy Kitui, Omondi asserted that he played a significant role in building the ‘Mugai Eve’ brand and believes his input on the matter is crucial.
“I wouldn’t call myself dad but I intentionally worked with Eve to grow online media. I believe my opinion in this case matters,” Omondi stated.
He also mentioned his plans to invite the estranged couple for lunch upon Eve’s return from her solo trip to Zanzibar, with the aim of reconciling them and restoring their brand.
“Ikinishinda nitasema I tried,” Omondi noted.

According to Omondi, the discord and subsequent breakup between Eve and Trevor were instigated by interference from their close friends and acquaintances.
“I had spoken and met both Eve and Trevor before the messy split and the issue is their friends. Ni watu kuingililia maisha yao,” Omondi said.
Director Trevor, who had been romantically involved with Eve Mungai for nearly five years, confirmed their separation both personally and professionally.

When asked about the possibility of continuing to collaborate with Mungai, Trevor stated unequivocally that her involvement in their joint platforms had been terminated.
“No! Her services are no longer required for the following platforms: YouTube – 754K subscribers, Insta Fame – 104K subscribers, Facebook – 874K followers,” Trevor responded.
Subsequently, Trevor rebranded the YouTube channel under the name ‘Kenya Online Media’. As a result of the breakup, Eve Mungai will no longer receive a monthly salary of Ksh800,000.
