The Multimillion Watch Didier Drogba Had During ‘Desperate’ AFCON Game Against Equatorial Guinea
The legendary Ivory Coast and Chelsea striker Didier Drogba stepped out with one of the most expensive wristwatches in the world during his country’s last group stage match against Equatorial Guinea where he watched his country walloped 4-0 by the Central Africa country at the Stade Alassane Outarra Stadium on Monday 22nd January.

The former Chelsea star was spotted in an expensive Richard Millie watch as he watched Cote d’Ivoire being defeated in their last match of the group stage. The hosts risked being knocked out of the competition before surviving in the last day of the group stage when Morocco beat the Chipolopolo of Zambia 1-0 and handed the Elephants lifeline back to the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
While Drogba looked embarrassed watching from the VIP section, he was pictured wearing a Richard Mille RM 61-01 Yohan Blake Monochrome wristwatch that got the netizens talking. The wristwatch is valued at $135,000 (Ksh. 21,870,000) and is limited to only 50 duplicates across the world and was pleasingly worn by the Drogba according to superwatchman.

The Ivory Coast’s Second All-time top scorer, career on the field was nothing but unmatched excellence, guiding Chelsea to multiple titles, including the UEFA Champions League victory in 2012 against Bayern Munich. Though Didier Drogba career seems incomplete for not winning Ivory Coast African Cup of Nations (AFCON) trophy but really sacrificed a lot for his country.
