2. The Muhammed Sanneh’s Hand of God
Gambia’s Muhammed Sanneh punched the ball into the net against the Indomitable Lions in the 93rd minute to level the score brought back memories of Diego Maradona’s Hand of God.
It’s unclear whether the Gambia defender really took the Argentine legend as his role model. But he forgot that we are not in Maradona’s era where there was no VAR technology. The cheating was quickly exposed by VAR and the goal was rightfully cancelled, and Gambia lost the game 3-2 to Cameroon which made one the funniest moments in the group stage.

1. Neblú the Spiderman
During the last group stage matches we really witnessed a lot. In Angola versus Burkina Faso match, the Angolan goalkeeper brought the spiderman vibes as he literally to flied like spiderman. However, that’s exactly what the 30-year-old did in the game versus Burkina Faso. Although he committed an intentional handball outside the penalty area, potentially preventing a clear goal-scoring opportunity, but luckily, he only got a yellow card, as the commentator correctly says in the clip: “No, you can’t do that.”
