Reuben Kigame Ranked Highest Paid Kenyan Musician By MCSK After Earning KSh 122k Royalty
Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) has finally disbursed royalties to Kenyan musicians in the first quarter of 2024, Mideyah Digital understands.

According to Ezekiel Mutua’s initial announcement, MCSK was going to release KSH 20 millions which was to be shared amongst 16,000 Kenyan musicians.

Both local musicians and their fans were not pleased by the amount and duly called out the body over their plan to remit about KSh 1,250 to to each member.

And true to their statement, the body released a tabulated list of artists who received top payments in MCSK 2024 first quarter royalties.
