The Kenyan pride Faith Kipyegon who has put smiles on Kenyan faces with her successful career in athletics winning countless marathons. Kipyegon turned 30, this month on January 10th and has won a total of 6 Gold medals and 2 silver medals.
2023 was Faith Kipyegon’s best year if we may say, where she broke the World record in the World Championships marathon held in Budapest Hungary setting new world record in 1500m after clocking 3:49:11 as well as setting a new world record in the 5000m race in world championships held in Monaco after clocking 4:07:64 all in a span of 7 days.

In 2023, she was awarded Ksh.5 million and a house worth 6 million by President William Ruto after breaking two world records in a week.
In a viral video seen by Mideyah Digital Media sports desk, Kipyegon was dressed in a captivating African dress with a lovely blue and yellow print, a video that impressed many with her nice dancing moves. Kipyegon who possesses a beautiful smile on her face was seen enjoying a native gospel song sung in ‘Kalenjin’ language where the marathoner hails.
