Bebe Cool Called Out Over Ksh 410K ‘Debt’

He promised to give me Ksh 205K each time I topped his list, Pallaso accuses Bebe Cool Photos courtesy

Ugandan musician Pallaso has called out fellow artist Bebe Cool, demanding for the money he thinks he owes him for topping his list of best artists with good songs for two consecutive years.

In 2021, Bebe Cool announced that he would turn his annual list into awards, giving money to the artists who have made it there.

On the 2022 list, Pallaso featured with Nalonda Nemala, Mpa Love and Ani Oyo, all released in 2021 but is yet to be paid as promised.

For this year, the Gagamel boss didn’t include him in his top 2023 artists and Pallaso revealed he would never acknowledge his lists again or even believe what he had to say about the status of the Ugandan music industry until he fulfilled his promise.

“He promised to give me Ksh 205K each time I topped his list. I did that two times but he kept switching off his phone. Even the fuel he promised me, he didn’t give it to me. If he wants me to take him serious, he should first give me my money it come out and declare that he doesn’t have it,” Pallaso spoke to journalists.
