Arsenal Gets Knocked Out of FA Cup by Liverpool
The Gunners were handed a 2-0 defeat at Emirates by the visitors as they bowed out of the FA Cup in the third round of the tournament.
After a goalless draw in the first half, Jakub Kiwior’s 80th-minute own goal and a 90+5 Luis Diaz banger gave Liverpool a huge victory at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners missed a host of chances in both halves, and they were punished by Liverpool.
The Reds grew increasingly dangerous with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s 80th-minute free-kick going in off Jakub Kiwior’s head to give Liverpool a 1-0 lead.
In 2021, the Gunners were knocked out by Southampton in the fourth round and in the following year in 2022, they were knocked out in the third round by then Championship side Nottingham Forest.
Last year they were knocked out by Manchester City in the fourth round who went on to win the trophy.
In this year’s edition they have been Mikel Arteta’s side have been knocked out by Liverpool in the third round.
