'Nakojoa Pazuri' Hit Lands Madee In Trouble

Song, Nakojoa Pazuri has landed Bongo Flava artist in trouble with BASATA after going against the norms, rules and regulations of the council.

 

Madee real name Hamad Ali Seneda has been fined Tsh. 3M by Tanzania Arts Council (BASATA) after releasing Nakojoa Pazuri that went against the council’s ethics.

 

The Bongo Flava artist released his hit on 13/12/2023 but hours after the hit got uploaded on social media platforms, it was pulled down by the orders from BASATA.

In the letter signed by BASATA Secretary General Dr. Kedmon Mapana, Madee and his team were fined over Tsh. 3M plus suspension from music industry until the fine is paid.

 

Madee alichapisha wimbo wenye maudhui yanayokiuka kanuni za BASATA za 2018 na mwongozo wa uzingatiaji maadili katika kazi za Sanaa ya mwaka 2023.”

 

Baada ya kujiridhisha kuwa msanii huyo amefanya makusudi, Baraza imefikia maamuzi ya kumtaka msanii Madee kushusha wimbo huo kwenye mitandao ya kijamii na majukwaa ya kidijitali, kuufunga wimbo kutokuimbwa na kuchezwa mahali popote ikiwemo kwenye vyombo vya habari…” the statement reads in part.

Song, Nakojoa Pazuri lands Madee in trouble

BASATA, further requested Tanzania Communication Authority to keep eye by ensuring the immoral song is not played on any media station in the country until the matter is fully looked into, and judgement made.

Currently, Madee is supposed to pay a fine of Tsh 3M, his producer Mr T Touch Tsh 1M and one who uploaded the song online Tsh 1M.
