11 Senior Manchester United Players To Miss Liverpool Match
After a disappointing exit from UEFA Champions League last night with a 1-0 defeat from Bayern Munich, Manchester United will be travelling to Liverpool this Sunday for a Premier League fixture where they could miss the services of several senior players due to injuries and suspension.
For the first time this season, United will be without their captain Bruno Fernandes after he picked his 5th yellow card of the season over the weekend when they suffered a 3-0 defeat on the hands the Cherries at Old Trafford.
United will also be without their long-term absentees through injuries starting with Argentinian Centre back Lisandro Martinez who has been out since September due to foot injury and was seen at Carrington this week doing individual training on his recovery process, but he won’t be available for Sunday’s clash.

Summer signing Mason Mount who has been on and off United squad due to injuries will also be unavailable.
Sweden captain Victor Lindelof also sustained an injury over the weekend against Bournemouth and was substituted in the first half could also miss the fixture.
England duo Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire also picked injuries in yesterday’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich, and they are both a doubt for Sunday.
Danish international Christian Eriksen is still unavailable over a knee injury he suffered last month in a 1-0 win over Luton Town.

Netherlands left back Tyrell Malacia is yet to make an appearance for United since 2023/24 season kicked off and he will another absentee.
Their Brazilian experienced midfielder Casemiro is also a doubt on his fitness after recovering from hamstring injury though he has been training with the first team squad.
The obvious absentee Jadon Sancho is also expected to be without with United squad following his fallout with Erik ten Hag.
