According to Kenyans.co.ke, Abdiqadir Hubess died on Tuesday, December 12 as Kenyans celebrated the country’s 60th Jamhuri Day.
News of Abdiqadir Hubess’s demise was first made public by KBC through its various social media platforms.

The cause of the late Abdiqadir Hubess’s death was not disclosed by the news which broke the hearts of many Kenyans.
Following the sad news, Kenyans from different walks of life took to different social media platforms to mourn Abdiqadir Hubess, with quite a number remembering him for his exemplary work.
A host of Kenyans acknowledged Abdiqadir Hubess’s contribution to the media industry.
They also sent condolence messages to his family and friends.

The late Abdiqadir Hubess was among the pioneering journalists who worked for Voice of Kenya(VOK) before it was rebranded to Kenya Broadcasting Corporation.
It should be noted that Abdiqadir Hubess was among the first-ever media personalities who shaped the industry and inspired countless people
Abdiqadir Hubess worked alongside veteran journalists such as Catherine Kasavuli and Leonard Mambo Mbotela at KBC.
