University Students Apologize After Confessing Cheating In Final Exam

Two students from Kyambogo University have apologized to the institution and general public for the viral video they released days ago admitting to exam malpractice.
In the video that was highly shared on social media, the students were seen admitting to cheating in the exam. They further mocked their fellows who had retakes plus those who chose to study hard.

In the same video that was recorded in Luganda, the students not only called out the university administrators for not being vigilant enough to curb the exam cheating but also exposed other issues that the university had been struggling with in the past.

In the apology video, the two students particularly apologized to fellow students, the Dean of Students, the Department of Performing Arts, the Vice Chancellor and the public, saying the first video was for content creation.
“We are here to publicly apologise for the mistake made. The video was meant for Content Creation and comedy as students of Performing Arts and a disclaimer was attached on it,”
“Kyambogo University has a strict policy against examination malpractice and this is enforced but the Uganda police. These exams are completely guarded and we therefore request that we are given pardon over this,”

“…we strongly advise all ongoing students to not attempt or do any examinations malpractice,” they said simultaneously.
They further requested the general public to stop sharing the video.
