Legendary Tanzanian video director Nic Davie, alias Director Nisher is dead.

 

According to reports from Tanzania, Director Nisher died in the wee hours of Tuesday, December 12.

 

News about Director Nisher’s death was confirmed and first made public by his father, Dr. GeorDavie through his official Instagram account just hours after his son’s death.

Dr. GeorDavie, who is a renowned man of the clothe informed the public that funeral and burial arrangements will be held at Kisongo in Arusha.

 

The late Nisher’s father said more details will be relayed to the public later.

 

The cause of Director Nisher’s death is yet to be revealed.

 

However, unconfirmed reports indicate that Nisher had been admitted at an ICU in a Tanzanian hospital after hurting himself.

 

According to the reports, Nisher allegedly harmed himself after suffering from depression following the sudden demise of his daughter.

Director Nisher’s death shook the entire Bongo Flava music industry with countless big-time celebrities and music lovers taking to different social media platforms to condole with his family.

 

Prior to his death, Director Nisher had taken a hiatus from the music industry after producing uncountable music videos for many top Tanzanian artistes.

 

The late video director has worked with many celebrated Tanzanian artistes such as Rostam, Young Dee, Joh Makini, Niki Wa Pili and Gnako among others.
