Full List Of 2023 CAF Awards Winners
The 2023 CAF Awards ceremony was held yesterday at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco.
These were this year’s 2023 awards winners;
Nigerian and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen won the 2023 African Player of the Year award winning it for the first time in his career where he beat Mohamed Salah and Senegal international Sadio Mane.
In women’s awards Nigerian Asisat Oshoala and Barcelona forward won the African Footballer of the Year award, she won it for the record sixth time.

She first won it in 2014 and then 2016 and 2017 consecutively, she won it again for the 4th time in 2019 and went on to win it for the record 5th time in 2022 before making it 6th time last night.
Moroccan goalkeeper who plays in Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal Yassine Bounou won the Best Goalkeeper Award in Africa 2023 after leading Morocco to last year’s World Cup success where they reached Semi-Finals where they were defeated 2-0 by France.
Nigerian Super Falcons Chiamaka Cynthia Nnadozie won the Best female Africa Goalkeeper Award 2023.
After making history in the last year’s Qatar 2022 World Cup and becoming the first African team reach semi-finals Morocco national team named the best team in Africa for 2023.

Morocco head coach Walid Regragui was also named as the Best Men’s Coach in Africa 2023, with Nigeria women’s national team winning the award for the best women’s national team in Africa 2023.
Senegalese Lamine Kamara won the Men’s Best Young Player in Africa award 2023 while Moroccan Nesryne El Chad won the award as the women’s best young player in Africa 2023.
Al-Alhy forward Percy Tauwins won the Best Player Award in Africa 2023 with his team Al-Ahly won the award for the best team in the African continent 2023.
Arsenal, Manchester City Dominate Awards
Mamelodi Sundowns women team were awarded as the Women’s Club of the year with South African national Women’s team Coach Desiree Ellis won the Best African Women’s Team Manager Award.
Moroccan Mohamed Aqeel received the Solidarity Award after donating more than 2,000 bags of flour to help people affected by the earthquake in Morocco. Fatima Tagnaout claimed the title of Women’s Interclub Player of the Year for 2023, marking an exceptional year.
