A boda boda rider was poisoned by strangers that paid for his services and later robbed of the motorcycle.
The victim Kirabira Junior 22, a resident of Kazo Zone II Lubaga Municipality escaped death by whisker after a man who hired him in Kawaala Taawo offered him poisoned biscuits with an aim of robbing him his boss’ motorcycle.
Kirabira who is currently admitted in a hospital in Kasangati narrated that after dropping the passenger at Bahai, he lost consciousness.
Ssemanda Bashiri, in charge of security around Gayaza Road revealed that he was tipped off by residents who noticed an unusual activity.
After noticing the sadistic plan, he informed the Police in Masooli who quickly rounded up the thugs, rescued the motorcycle and arrested one.
The victim is currently detained at a police station Masooli.
