Kibera slum from global calendar of hosting notorious citizens, business vendors have got themselves in utter shock after their scamming businesses was exposed by French YouTuber.

 

Kino Yvess paid a visit to Kenya to create content around Kibera Slums. While walking around filming and narrating Kenya’s social economic background, he bumped on many whose stomachs wanted a bottle of soda.

 

From the viral video, Yvess filmed himself in several incidences where both adults and young asked for either money or bottle of soda.

 

When at a certain street in Kibera Slums, Yvess felt hungry and visited one Kibandask for Ugali as his afternoon lunch before proceeding with his content creation.

At a Kibandask, a male vendor dressed in red apron claimed Ugali goes at sh 800 while he knew street food have a lower price than that.

 

Armed with his Ksh 200 fish, he was set to give a whoop of Ksh 800 for ugali which locals buy at Ksh 50 in the street.

 

That’s really the price you’re saying? You just told me the fish is KSh200. So the ugali is KSh800? So anyone who takes ugali pays KSh800? Are you really sure?” He enquired.

 

Yes, of course”. The street vendor at the Kibandask replied.

 

Yves after a couple of minutes bargaining for a reduction, he gave out Ksh 500 for Ugali which the vendor upon receiving, insisted an addition of at least sh 200.

 

I’ll give you sh 500 because I think that’s already much. Overpriced” he said before giving out the money.

In utter shock of mgeni njoo mwenyeji apone, the vendor insisted for 200 addition by claiming his bargain had resulted to a reduction of sh 100.

 

This forced the French man to pocket and add sh 200 totalling to sh 700 for street ugali going at sh 50 for normal Kenyans.

 

Upon finishing to eat the food, the vendor requested him to welcome other people for a luncheon at the Kibandask which he refused after being overpriced.

 

You were nice but I’m not gonna say good things about you because you cheated on me. You’re giving a bad imagination of the people here. That’s why it’s not nice” he added.
