Newcastle United Eyeing David De Gea
Newcastle United are eyeing to sign former Manchester United and Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea who is a free agent since he left Manchester United in the summer upon his contract expiry.
The United legend who turned 33 years last month could make his Premier League comeback with Newcastle United.
The Magpies are planning to make a move for De Gea after their first-choice goalkeeper Nick Pope sustained a shoulder injury during last weekend’s 1-0 win against Manchester United and was substituted in the 86th minute.

Pope is expected to be out for around 5 months and Newcastle United will make a move for a goalkeeper in a short-term deal and De Gea looks to be the possible candidate at this moment.
The Spaniard who appeared for Manchester United in all 38 premier league matches and two Finals in Carabao and FA cup last season.

De Gea also won golden glove as a goalkeeper with the most clean sheets (17) in the Premier League also won Carabao cup against Newcastle United.
