The Harambee Stars 5-Star Performance!

Harambee Stars bagged 3 important points and 5 goals against Seychelles in Group F of World Cup Qualifiers last night at Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Kenya took a early lead of the game when national team captain Michael Olunga scored in the 3rd minute and 3 minutes later doubling the lead with a brilliant strike.

The only goal scorer in a 2-1 defeat against Gabon last week Masoud Juma was also on the scoresheet giving Kenya third goal before the break.

After 17 minutes into the second half, Gor Mahia right back who has been making dazzling moves with his brilliant performances scored the fourth goal for Harambee stars before providing a beautiful assist to his Gor Mahia’s counterpart Benson Omalla who came off the bench in the 66th minute and scored 7 minutes later to make it 5 for Harambee Stars.

A win against the pirates leaves the Harambee Stars in the 3rd position with 3 points behind Gabon and Ivory Coast respectively with 6 points each. Kenya will face Burundi and Ivory Coast on June next year for the round 3 & 4 of Group F World cup qualifiers.
