In an exclusive interview with a local media, Denis Kaggia, popularly known as DNA, has unveiled a chapter from his prime days in the music industry.

Surprisingly, he disclosed that Kiss FM, a prominent radio station, never played his songs during that period.

According to the ‘Banjuka’ hit maker, it wasn’t until the arrival of media personality Kamene Goro that the tables turned in his favour.

“Kiss never gave my jams a chance. It was when Kamene joined that my songs found a home on their playlist. These guys have harbored animosity towards me for quite some time,” DNA revealed during the interview.

He also pointed out that certain radio heads and media personalities favoured specific artists, often sidelining others, including him.

The artist described how his brand and personality faced scrutiny, contributing to the prolonged radio silence.
