Dentist Arrested For Allegedly Raping Minor Who Had Gone For Tooth Extraction

Police has arrested a dentist who allegedly turned against his minor patient and raped her.
The culprit identified as 26-year-old Mwijuka Boaz, the owner of Destiny Medical Center, Zzana-Lufuma, Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality is said to have sexually assaulted a 17 year old who had gone to his clinic to have her tooth extracted.
The victim narrates that she arrived at the clinic very early in the morning and after explaining her pain to Mwijuka, he took her inside the room to prep her for the extraction process.
“He ordered me to sit on that bed and he started bringing out the instruments. He first checked my teeth before putting me under anesthesia,” She said.

The victim claims she later lost consciousness only to wake up with an extracted tooth, wet underwear and a lot of pain in her privates.
“When the doctor came back, I asked him what he had done to me and he started denying. I cried a lot and moved out and went home, 3 meters from the clinic,” she narrated.
The victim reported to her mother Nabacwa Joyce who quickly rushed to Kikumbi police. They were surprised to find the accused already at the station and according to the OC of this station, Mwijuka had gone to bribe his way of the case.

Statements were retrieved from both the culprit and the victim. The victim was taken to NVK Medical Centre, Kibuye for checkup as they tried to sneak Mwijuka out without attracting the attention of the public, something that angered the mob that wanted to lynch him.
The police then stormed the culprit’s clinic for evidence but found that all employees including his wife had run off leaving only security guard.
One of the nurses working with Mwijuka blamed his wife for always denying him sex, prompting him to mess with his patients.
Kampala Metropolitan deputy police spokesperson, Luke Oweyesigyire confirmed Mwijuka’s arrest at Kikumbi police station and said he would be charged with rape.
