Elon Musk Set To Make X A Dating Site
Elon said X will be an "everything platform."
X formerly Twitter set to introduce X Dating a new feature for social users to find partners.
In a conference meeting held by X owner Elon Musk and CEO Linda Yaccarino with employees over salary and employment, Elon said X will be an “everything platform.”
Recently, X introduced audio and video features on its platform to enable users have a more advanced mode of communication.
Beside the features, users are also able to post a long wording post of over 50 characters as a way of enhancing storytelling and information delivery.
The introduction of X Dating is now aimed at competing with Dating sites like Tinder and promote love where users find their partners easily.
“There’s already some stuff happening to some degree. But I think we might be able to improve the dating situation. Part of it is how do you discover interesting people? Discovery is tough,” Musk said.
According to Elon Musk, X will soon be an everything platform that offers all services offered by other platforms like LinkedIn.
Currently, new X users will have to pay in order to use the platform.
The owner after buying the platform worth $ 44B, in October 2022; appointed Linda Yuccaririo on May 2023 as its CEO.
X, has over half billion monthly users and over 100 billion impressions per day.
X Dating will also provide an avenue for mental health awareness, marital counseling and love tips.
