Health Worker Arrested Over Homosexuality Allegations

Police in Kasese District had arrested a health worker from Bugoye Health Center III over homosexuality allegations.
The suspect identified as Kule Oscar Sam, a resident of Kitswamba Sub-county was arrested early morning for allegedly having sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old primary five minor.
According to Bugoye Sub-county Chairperson, Mr. James Katalikawa Muthulhanda, the suspect’s arrest came after the night watchman at the Health Center became suspicious on seeing Kule coming out of his room with the minor late in the night.
He immediately tipped off the police who swiftly arrested the suspect.

Mr. Muthulhanda cautioned people against engaging in such condemned practices, also calling for the promotion of traditional and cultural values.
Kaahwa Richard Kaahwa, the father to victim and resident of Bugoye village regretted the unfortunate situation, also revealed how he didn’t have enough information about the matter.
