Willis Raburu Receives Amazing Gift As He Signs Off From RMS

Citizen TV anchor Willis Raburu today officially signed off from the Royal Media Services.
The Presenter who will air his last show tomorrow at 10:00p.m, was surprised by his family and colleagues as they celebrated 13 years with the station.
Raburu’s wife Ivy Namu celebrated him for his energy and work ethic as she wished him all the best after the end of his era with the station.
“I wish you feel so appreciated today. I’m so proud of you, your work ethic is so admirable. I’m blessed to have caught you before you ended I’m blessed to have worked with you.I love how you deal with people, you are a people’s person. I remember telling you that anybody saying hae to you says hae with a high energy because that’s the energy you give off on air. I know the next chapter is going to be amazing. Thank you for being you. You are a master of your craft and it’s truly this an end of an era”
She further thanked Royal media staff who made her surprise to her husband possible.
“I know you are wondering how we got here, they (Raburu’s colleague) helped us plan everything,”
The presenter who tendered his resignation early June this year, started out as an intern in 2010 and has had a great journey and transition having worked as a reporter, news anchor and host of the Citizen TV morning show.
Raburu is now leaving the station after 13 years of remarkable journey.
