Prepare For Six Hour Heavy Traffic On Mombasa Road

Mombasa Road users on a notice issued on May 27 were urged to use alternative routes following an annual St John Ambulance Save a Life Walkathon 2023 scheduled to take place on the route.
“Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid any inconveniences. Traffic police will be there to enable smooth flow of traffic,” read part of the statement.
The race was expected to begin at 6 am to 12 pm from the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
It would move from KICC to Bellevue South C and back.
The Walkathon is aimed at raising funds to help patients without emergency medical care.
Motorists are therefore urged to be cautious and obey traffic avod creating a snarl up.
