Mohamed Salah Apologizes To Liverpool Fans
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has apologized to the fans after they failed to qualify for the Champions League.
After Manchester United’s 4-1 win over Chelsea yesterday, it is guaranteed that Klopp’s team will play in the Europa League next season.
Salah, who last summer agreed to a lucrative new three-year contract with Liverpool, has scored 19 league goals this year, including six in the 14 games leading up to the 2022 World Cup and 13 in the 23 games that followed.
Taking to his Twitter page after the game, Salah tweeted, “I’m totally devastated. There is no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League, and we failed”. “We are Liverpool, and qualifying for the competition is the bare minimum. We let you and ourselves down”. Liverpool started the season very poorly, but they have picked up their form in the last few months as they are still in rebuild mode and will see some of their key players leave this summer.
