The Lakers Defeat Golden State Warriors In Game Four
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 104-101 and took a 3-1 series lead in the western conference semifinals.
The Lakers were helped by Lonie Walker, who scored all 15 of his points in the fourth quarter, while LeBron James scored a team-high 27 points and Anthony Davis had 23 points and 15 rebounds. Austin Reaves added another 21 points in the win.
For the Warriors, Stephen Curry’s triple-double of 31 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds was insufficient to secure victory. Andrew Wiggins had 17 points, while Klay Thompson struggled in the game with just 9 points on 3-11 field goal attempts.
After the game, LeBron James heaped praise on Lonnie Walker for his performance. “For him to be as young as he is, for him to have that professionalism, come out, stay ready when his number is called, we don’t win this game without Lonnie Walker tonight,” he said.
Game 5 will be played in San Francisco, and the Lakers have a chance to win the series if they can avoid defeat during the game.
