Anthony Davis Shines As The Lakers Beats The Warriors In NBA

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 117-112 in Game 1 of the Western Conference semi-finals on Wednesday morning.

 

 

Anthony Davis put up 30 points and 23 rebounds for the Los Angeles Lakers in a dominant display in San Francisco, while Lebron James scored 22 points and 11 rebounds. Russell added 19 points, while Schroder also had 19 points.

 

 

For the Warriors, Stephen Curry led the team with 27 points, while Klay Thompson finished with 25 points. Off the bench, Poole scored 21 points. From behind the arc, those three made a combined 18 of 40 shots. With 23 rebounds, Kevon Looney contributed 10 points. He has now amassed at least 20 rebounds in four of his playoff outings.

 

 

Speaking after the game, Anthony Davis said that they had to be at their best to beat them.

 

“We know they’re the same defending champions, man,” Davis said.

 

“We saw what they did against Sacramento. No lead is safe with them. Obviously, you saw that they could get hot at any moment. It’s just the mindset for our team, knowing that if we can win in this building, we can beat this team. It’s a confidence booster for us.” He said
