Raila’s Security Withdrawn
The Government has reportedly withdrawn security detail of Azimio Principals together with that of some Azimio coalition elected leaders.
According to information from ODM Party, security detail of Raila Odinga, Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka among other leaders were withdrawn by the state.
“The Ruto govt has ordered the immediate withdrawal of security details of Raila Odinga, Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka together with those of other elected leaders in Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition ” report on ODM Party twitter page indicated
Additionally, the party claims that Mama Ida Odinga’s, wife to Raila, security has also been withdrawn.
“As if withdrawing Raila Odinga’s security detail isn’t enough, the dictatorial regime has also withdrawn Mama Ida Odinga’s security detail. It is well.”
Azimio returned to the streets following failed bipartisan talks which were to be conducted between them and Kenya Kwanza Government to bridge the differences and put an end to protests.
