Raila: Police Destroyed Our Media Equipment
Raila Odinga’s motorcade has been missing in action following a cut on their usual live coverage.
The ODM leader has come out to explain that their equipments were destroyed by police who were lobbing tear gas at a petrol station
“Our media team’s equipment was destroyed by the police as they lobbed teargas at a petrol station.”
He further noted that officers accorded them an escort through various routes during the demonstration
“We have had a peaceful procession from Kawangware-Kangemi-Waruku-Westlands-Parklands-Muthaiga-Kiambu Rd with a full escort of the police in 15 land-cruisers.
“Nobody was robbed. No mama mboga was harassed. Everyone was cheering on and saying how tired they are with the regime,”Raila wrote on Twitter.
