Tears As DJ Fatxo Kneel In Church For Spiritual Blessing (Video)
A week after celebrating his 27th birthday, Mugithi gramophone player and artist DJ Fatxo last Sunday was in church seeking blessings.
In a video that the artist uploaded on his Facebook page and Instagram, he was seen kneeling and prostrating with others at the altar in front of a pastor in a church in Nairobi.
After being prayed for, Fatxo appeared to be in tears as he extended himself and left a message of gratitude to God for giving him grace in life despite the chaos that has been surrounding him since February linked to the death of his former friend, designer Jeff Mwathi.
“O Heavenly Father, thank you Lord for the blessings you have given me in my life. You gave me more than I could ever imagine. You surrounded me with people who always looked up to me. You gave me family and friends who bless me every day with good words and deeds. They lifted me up in ways that kept my eyes on you and made my spirit soar,” Fatxo wrote.
Two weeks ago, the DCI Department who were investigating the Mwathi murder case announced that the investigation has been completed and the file has been submitted to the DPP to assess whether the suspects will be charged.
But in the statement that surprised many Kenyans who have been wanting Jeff to get justice, DCI seemed to indicate that Fatxo and his colleagues may not have been involved in Jeff’s murder as previously reported.
Fatxo is now thanking God for protecting him in all that cycle of words against him where he has been seen as bad by some calling him a slanderer.
“Also thank you Lord for keeping me safe. You protected me from many things. You helped me make better decisions and gave me mentors to help me with difficult life decisions. You spoke to me in so many ways that I always knew you were with me. And Lord, I am so thankful for keeping those around me safe and loved. I hope that you will give me the ability and intelligence to show them every day is very important. I hope that you will give me the ability to give them the same kindness that they have given me.”
Additionally, Fatxo also had a request from God;
“Lord, teach me to give you a heart of gratitude and praise in all my experiences of daily life. Teach me to be happy always, to pray without ceasing, and to be thankful in all my circumstances.”
