William Saliba To Miss Arsenal Trip To Manchester City
Arsenal will face off against an informed Manchester City side on Wednesday in what could be the title decider in the Premier League.
Arsenal are winless in their last three games, having drawn two of them against Liverpool and West Ham, and they had to rely on a last-minute leveler from Bukayo Saka against Southampton on Friday.
William Saliba, a defender for Arsenal, is expected to miss Wednesday’s game against Manchester City. There are fears that the Frenchman will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a back injury against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League
Saliba has missed Arsenal’s last five games, and Rob Holding has been playing in his place. They have not yet kept a clean sheet since Saliba’s injury.
Manchester City have hit form at the right time, and they are favorites for a treble season after knocking out Bayern Munich in the Champions League and also qualifying for the FA final against Manchester United.
City won the first leg 3-1 at the Emirates, and they are heavy favourites going into the game. Arsenal have been at the top for most of the season and it will be heartbreaking for them if they are to loose it.
Arsenal are still the Premier League leaders with 75 points, and Manchester City are right behind with 70 points but have played two fewer games than the leaders.
