Man Beheaded Over Extramarital Affairs
Police in Uganda have linked the death of a 36-year- old man to extramarital affairs.
David Simiyu a resident of Bumasikye Village, Kirombe Parish in Eastern Uganda District was on Tuesday found headless near his home.
According to an eyewitness as reported by the police, David left his home at unknown time on Monday to go to local brew to drink but later at 11pm, his body was found lifeless.
The eyewitness reported that David’s body was found beheaded and lying in a pool of blood.
“David Wafula’s head was chopped off, probably using a panga, by unknown people who accused him of loving a married woman in the village of Bumasikye,” Elgon Regional Police spokesperson Rogers Taitika said.
Following the death of the 36- year- old peasant, Elgon Regional Police have started investigating into the death of the deceased.
” We have launched investigations into the matter to arrest the culprits linked to David’s death” police told the public on Tuesday.
In Uganda according to police reports, crime scenes have been on the rise since 2022 compared to 2021 and needs refurbishment to tame crimes occurring in society.
