Preachers Condemn Yesu Wa Tongaren
Section of preachers from Bungoma County have denounced self-proclaimed ‘Yesu wa Tongaren’ terming his acts as blasphemy.
While addressing the press, they accused Eliud Simiyu alias Yesu Wa Tongaren of engaging himself with conmanship like business for personal gains from the ignorant.
“We want to distance ourselves from Jesus of Tongaren, Jehovah Wanyonyi, Yohana Mbatizaji, ni upotovu wa kutoelewa bibilia (This is lack of understanding and knowledge of the Bible). We are followers of Jesus Christ and human beings cannot be Jesus.” Read the statement.
They further warned people to beware of the false prophets arising in the region with the recent one being Yesu Wa Tongaren.
According to their chairperson, the self -proclaimed ‘Yesu Wa Tongaren’ has never attended any of their gatherings or even church functions.
Bungoma has been for a long time home of sacred uncertainties with it producing humanly gods.
