DCI Homicide Detectives Visit DJ Fatxo’s House
Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, homicide department, have this afternoon visited the building where Jeff Mwathi Met his death.
Mwathi fell from the 12th-floor Redwood Apartments that is located along Thika Road where he was with a popular Disk Joker, DJ Fatso.
Detectives from the Homicide department based at DCI Headquarters have took the matters after Interior Cabinet secretary Kindiki Kithure succumb to pressure from Kenyans who demanded justice for Mwathi.
Prof Kindiki ordered DCI boss Mohamed Amin to conduct intensive and conclusive investigations into the mysterious death the young man.
“On the matter of the late Jeff Mwathi, have spoken to the DCI Amin and instructed him to send a homicide team from the DCI headquarters to thoroughly investigate the incident and take the necessary action,” Kindiki said.
The CS said the sleuth team from the DCI headquarters is dispassionate, and this will help resolve the claims of collusion.
The circumstances that led to his death still remain mysterious.
