Matiang’i Temporarily Denied Access

Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i finally arrived at the DCI headquarters along Kiambu road, Nairobi.

Matiang’i was accompanied by an eloquence of lawyers among them Danstan Omari and  Rarienda MP Otiende Amollo. Former CS Eugene Wamalwa was also in the brigade that escorted the then powerful CS to answer questions on the alleged first raid at his home between 8th and 9th of February, 2023.

Matiang’i who jetted back into the country this past Saturday ,was set to present himself at 9:30am arrived at around 8:30 a.m as he confirmed through his lawyer Danstan Omari that he will get to the offices earlier than required.

He is accused of publication of false information contrary to Section 23 of the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crimes Act of 2018 among other offences.

Despite honouring his summon, the Former CS was however temporarily denied access on claims that that those who accompanied him are too many.
