A Bolivian hunter who got lost in the Amazon rainforest a month ago has left the world in shock with his survival tactic inside the forest.

The man identified as Jhonatan Acosta ,30, says he survived by eating worms and drinking his own urine.

He narrated to Sky news that he separated with colleagues as they were trying to locate a lagoon that according to them allegedly contained Gold and Diamonds.

In his unexpected loss in the huge jungle, Acosta confesses fighting and killing Wild Boars that attacked him one night. He also had numerous encounters with Jaguars who opted to ignore him most of the times.

He however explains not feasting on the wild boar due to lack of knife or means to start fire. The man who harvested rain water on his boots, therefore resolved to eating warms and drinking own urine for water when there were no rains.

“It helped a lot to know about survival techniques: I had to consume insects, drink my urine, eat worms,” “I was attacked by animals.”He told one of his local TV station.

He was found by search and rescue team last Saturday reportedly malnourished and dehydrated having lost 17Kg and is currently receiving treatment at a local health facility.

Acosta was reported missing by his family at the end of January when he had gone on a hunting trip with four friends in the Amazon forest but became separated from them on 25 January.
