Harambee Stars Coach Engin Firat Jets Back Ahead Of Burundi Duel

Kenya National soccer team head coach Engin Firat Jetted back in the country from his home nation, Turkey on Wednesday morning days after his contract was renewed.

 

 

Firat has numerous tasks lined up for him among them to assemble up a team that will feature in the next window of international friendlies.

 

 

National Team Harambee stars is scheduled to square it out with Burundi on 23rd and 25th in Nairobi.  This will be the first major assignment for the stars after coming from FIFA ban.

 

 

The Turkish had been given a four-match assignment by FKF which ended but the federation has now given him  a 3 year contract.Under his three-year contract, Firat will earn Ksh. 18 million annually, and Ksh 54 million for the entire duration of his term.

 

 

Firat will also be tasked with assembling his technical bench that will feature two assistant coach and  goalkeeper trainer. One of the coach set to deputize Firat according TO sources is Ken odhiambo
