Bishop Wilberforce Luwalila at Hillside Primary School, Naalya

Anglican Bishop of Namirembe Cathedral, Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira has warned parents and their school going children to look out for the increased sexual immoralities that are taking over schools.

The Bishop expressed his concern during his visit at Hillside Primary School in Naalya where he had gone for a thanksgiving service for the 2022 UCE results that were released weeks back.

During the mass that was attended by both parents and pupils, Wilberforce noted hints on unknown people who he says are using money to lure young children in immoral acts, something they strongly condemn.

“We should talk to our children and direct them in the right path and I call upon parents to pray for their children always so that they can be able to differentiate right from wrong” He said.

This comes as a wave of fear continues to grip parents across the country over the increased sexual immorality among school going children with allegations that there has been same sex education.

Religious leaders further advised parents to always take note of the schools they take their children to and also echoed the government to fight against homosexuality.

We recall the Church Of Uganda through the Archbishop The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, revealed that they were considering their relationship with the Church of England following the general synod’s decision to allow the clergy under the church to bless civil partnerships and same sex marriages
