“Prayer Without Action is Meaningless,” MP Babu Owino Slams President Ruto
Vocal Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino, has slammed President Ruto’s plan of holding a national prayer day tomorrow on Valentines day.
The Prayer set to be held at Nyayo Stadium is one aimed seeking for God’s intervention to end drought and hunger facing the country.
According to Babu, the country’s fifth in command is offering numerous prayers with no action citing the several of incidences of people suffering across the country.
He also terms the President’s care without action a sin.
“Prayer without action is meaningless. Prayer to make a show of how much you care without action is a sin. Period. How dare they use the sacred act of prayer to put on a mantle of caring when the gut-wrenching grief of families and communities continues day in and day out.
He therefore asks the President to let people merry and strengthen bonds with their families tomorrow on Valentine’s day
“Dr.Ruto must know that the Bible says in James 2:17 that Faith without action is dead,He should therefore Let People make love /have hip to hip massage on valentines Day and strengthen bonds with their families.”
