MP Purchases Hearse for Residents.
Residents of Kisumu West Constituency, Kisumu County are a happy lot after their legislator launched an Hearse for purposes of helping them during Funeral Ceremonies.
The Legislator said the move is to help families who face difficulties getting the same services during sad moments.
She acknowledged receiving many calls from area residents who mostly ask for financial help to sort medical or funeral expenses saying the move will help those whom she cannot help in contributions at times.
“So today we’re launching a Hearse called Dwasi for kisumu west constituency for those moments when somebody’s bereaved but they might not have enough in their pocket to handle the ceremony of giving their loved one a send-off,” she said.
She further refuted claims that she wanted people dead in her Constituency.
“So I don’t think it’s wishing anybody dead? I’m not in control of anybody’s life but should that moment come and should a constituent not be a position to give their loved one a proper send-off or even transport their loved one, I’d like to be part of that pain. I’d like to make a contribution towards that pain, and that is a hearse to help them transport their loved ones comfortably and without having to spend too much.” Buyu added
The hearse Services will be fully catered for by her and as such no Resident will pay for the Services.
She further advised her constituents to report their cases earlier for consideration.
