Home » Kindiki Warns Raila over His Anti-Government Rallies

The Government has issued a caution to the Azimio la Umoja Leader Raila Odinga and team against interfering with people’s businesses during their rallies dubbed People’s Barazas.

 

Speaking to the press at Harambee house Nairobi while giving his 100 days score card, Interior CS Professor Kithure Kindiki stated that the Government has no rights to interfere with Opposition rallies but should they break the law then they would face full police force.

 

“I have no business with those who are doing demonstrations; actually I don’t care, on one condition that they keep law and order. The day they will try to break the law, to breach peace to incite public disorder that is the day the full weight of the Ministry of Interior will come on them,”warned Kindiki

 

 

Kindiki reiterated President William Ruto’s sentiments on the Government fully disengaging in politics and instead fully work for Kenyans.

 

The opposition chief has been organizing Anti-Government rallies claiming that his victory was rigged out in favour of President William Ruto now asking them to Resign amongst other Demands.

 

The Azimio coalition has organized a series of rallies in various counties with this week, they will be holding a Rally in Mavoko, Machakos County, before heading to Busia on Sunday.
