Transman To Give Birth In March, Wife Says
Transgender couple have taken to social media to announce their joy of expecting a firstborn in March.
The Indian couple that married three years ago, have been living together and it will be the first transgender couple- transman to give birth in Indian history.
Ziya Paval took to her Instagram page to announce that her partner Zahhad is now eight months pregnant and soon will give birth to their firstborn.
Ziya an Indian dancer born a woman by birth, changed into a man after feeling the discomfort of looking like a woman. Her inner instincts and desires which were to become a man and a father, led her into hormonal therapy and transformation.
Zahhad on the hand, was born a man by birth but his feelings, dreams and desires were to become a woman and be called a mother. As the case, he went for medical transformation just like Ziya, his wife.
” Even though I am not a woman by birth or by body, a dream that I had inside me until I grew up knowing the femininity in me is ‘mother’… My body may not allow me to feel or feel that pain and comfort in this life” says Zahhad.

According to some media reports in India, the couple wanted to adopt a child but the legal process looked hectic thus opting for the natural way.
The two when opting for the natural way of getting a child, says their dream is to leave the legacy behind in form of a child along the transgender community.
” Like a dream of a mother in me, his (Ziya Paval) dream of a father and desire to be our own brought us together in a single thought” says Zahhad.
Paval the transwoman is looking forward to go for homornal therapy and breast surgery to get her breasts removed after Zahhad giving birth.
Zahhad – expectant transman hence he has no breasts, say as a couple, they’ll use medical preferred milk to feed their child after giving birth. He further says, he’s eagerly waiting for a small voice calling him mother.
“As the long awaited dream in me come true, I am also waiting to hear the call in the small voice of a mother just a few days to go” Zahhad says .
Paval as ” he” thanks her family members, friends and medical practitioners, she has expressed her joy on her Instagram page for their mental and physical support.
